Moving Spirit Film Video

Moving Spirit Film is based in Brighton and Hove (Sussex) but I also work in London and along the South Coast.

At Moving Spirit Film I specialise in Promotional and Profile Web Video Production for any small to medium sized business owner, incorporating HD video, graphics, typography, custom composed music and photography.

My intention is to create an easy platform for you to use to communicate your business message clearly, cleanly and succinctly on your website or for your social media presence. If you don't have the budget for original photographs and music, then I also have a sizeable library that I can supply you from.

In addition to filming I can supply music, production, animation and editing for projects aimed at the UK educational market. Full details of this are found on the Education Video Production page where I talk about the experience I have gained in this fast growing area through my own multi-media sustainability education company.

I also have a well equipped music studio and I can do stand-alone musical production or web based audio products, including meditation CDs, audio books, recorded talks and products for youtube.

Services include

• Promotional videos • Marketing video production • Web video production • Profile video production • Animated videos • Explainer videos • Artistic video content • Portrait photography • Product photography • Music production • Music composition • Audio Services

Support, direction & understanding

So why choose me?
I have been the unusual combination of being technically minded, with a great deal of common sense but also a highly artistic individual for my entire life. With a great eye for composition, an ear for sound and harmony but also the ability to wrangle equipment and software with ease. Immersed in the musical world since I was 13 years old, I made my mark as a producer and song writer when I signed as a songwriter/composer to Chrysalis Publishing under Jeremy Lascelles CEO Chrysalis Music (and bought my first recording studio), and I went on to have 'Single of the week' in Melody Maker and Record Collector and record and album production deals with American giants Road Runner Records and London's More Protein. As a part of the band Tam! I won the prestigious 'In the City' award and played Glastonbury Festival with my band Superswamis.

I went on to produce other artists and I have collaborated with producers from Jim Abbiss (Adele, Kasabian), to Phil Brown (Bob Marley, Talk Talk), Ray Shulman (Sugar Cubes, Cardigans) and Arthur Baker (New Order, Bob Dylan).

I then went on to composing for television and corporates and I recently scored music for the Visit Britain “You’re Invited” global campaign, viewed and listened to by more than half a billion people. I have composed for commercials for a diverse range of clients including Yamaha, Fox, Discovery Channel, Minotaur, Minotaure, Umbro, Target, Tiger Aspect, Air Studios/George Martin, Visit Britain, RBS, UK Ministry of Defence, Argos, Lexus, Flute Office, AMMROC, Assembly Studios, Olympus, Maximillion and the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Over the last few years my focus has gradually been shifting from music to photography and filming, and I have specialised in video production for therapists and authors as well as portraiture and landscapes.

I am happy to work with you whatever the product or service you wish to promote through the use of sound and vision. My only requirement is that you are passionate about what you want to promote and hence willing to engage authentically with your potential clients and customers.
